Alpine is back. Visit the Alpine Centre Orpington to discover a car that’s been designed with help from years of racing experience. The original cars, designed by Jean Rédélé, were made to compete. And the latest Alpine A110 have the same purpose – to go fast.
Winning multiple Le Mans races, the ultimate test of endurance, the Alpine A440 gained fame as a 2.0-litre powerhouse. And so did Alain Serpaggi, the driver.
After 35 years out of the game, Alpine jumped back in the race and won two European titles in 2013 and 2014. The Alpine team was awarded the Prix ESCRA at Le Mans for the best technical performance. Alpine stirred up a storm by announcing the Célébration concept car, celebrating 60 years of racing excellence.
Now, the new Alpine A110 is ready to take the streets by storm. A lightweight aluminium body is hinted to by the sleek elegance of the exterior design. Its heritage is not forgotten, with four retro-inspired headlights with a modern LED twist staring boldly to the front.
Sit behind of the wheel of a new A110 and you’ll feel it’s history racing through you. An infotainment system with a 7” touchscreen uses Alpine Telemetrics, timing laps and saving race data.
And it’s a smash hit. The Alpine A110 was awarded Five-Star Car status at the Autocar Awards 2018 and took home Motorsport Magazine’s prestigious Car of the Year 2018 award.
